- Vehicle Data (for e.g., registration number)
- Telematics Data (for e.g., data about overspeed, bike fall and crash)

- Generated Data (for e.g., logs, transaction records)
- Testimonials that may contain some Personal Data.
If you use the iQube Mobile Application, we also collect, store and process the following personal data:
- Personal Data collected via permissions on our mobile applications (for e.g., contacts, location data, photos and SMS)
- Ride Data (for e.g., travel location, travel date, time, top speed, average speed, driver behaviour data such as speed and braking habits.) This information will be collected only if you connect your vehicle with the device in which the mobile application is installed using Bluetooth and your device receives Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) signals. Location data is collected in the background when you use our mobile applications.
Where Do We Collect Your Personal Data From?
We collect your Personal Data in the following ways:
- When you visit our website or social media pages and fill in the registration form and use the Contact Us facility.
- When we receive a request for service and parts through our distributor
- When you use our mobile applications
- When you interact with us via our websites or use services on our websites.
- When you use one of our connected mobility vehicles, we collect ride data statistics.
- When you sign-up to become our distributor.
How Do We Use Your Personal Data?
We use your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- If you express an interest in our product, we collect and share your Personal Data with our distributor, who in turn would contact you to schedule a store visit.
- If you are an existing customer, we collect your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- to authenticate your account or information on our applications that you use.
- to provide you with our products and services (including but not limited to roadside assistance, ride information, assistance in case of accidents, servicing history).
- to generate analytics relating to use of our vehicles by you.
- to communicate with you regarding existing products and services availed by you, including notifications of any alerts or updates.
- to evaluate, develop and improve our products and services.
- for market and product analysis and market research.
- to send you information about our other products or services which may be of interest to you.
- to obtain feedback and handle enquiries and complaints.
- to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
- to reach out to you for service reminders.
- we use location data in our connected mobility vehicles to provide user specific information and functionalities while using the mobile application. For example, to provide the user with turn-by-turn navigation feature on the connected vehicles speedometer, the mobile application requires to use the location data in the background so that even when the users phone is locked and in their pocket the navigation feature in the application continues to work and sends turn-by-turn instructions to the Bluetooth connected speedometer on the vehicle.
- If you are a distributor, we collect your Personal Data for registration and billing purposes.
- If you are a distributor's employee and use the Mahle Mobile Application, we collect your Personal Data to share technical learning courses and track your learning progress and to allow you to process customer complaints and coordinate solutions.
If you are a website visitor, we process your Personal Data to optimize your website experience and customize content.
On What Legal Grounds Do We Process Your Personal Data?
We process your Personal Data by relying on one or more of the following legal grounds:
- You have consented to us processing your Personal Data for specified reasons.
- The processing is necessary to carry out our contractual obligation with you (for e.g., to communicate with you regarding existing products and services availed by you).
- The processing is necessary for our legitimate interests (to evaluate, develop and improve our products and services)
- The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation we may have towards other stakeholders like law enforcement agencies, government agencies, regulators, etc.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
This Privacy Policy shall be construed and governed by the laws of India without regard to principles of conflict of laws. However, if a dispute resolution mechanism is available under a separate statute relevant to the Privacy laws, that mechanism shall be the primary method for resolving the dispute under this notice. In the absence of such a mechanism, all disputes, differences, claims, controversies and the like, which may arise between the parties to this Privacy Policy, including construction, meaning or operation or effect of the same shall be referred to arbitration of a sole arbitrator to be nominated by the MCCI Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation Centre (MAMC), at the request of the authorized signatory of either Sundaram Auto Components Ltd. or yourself, as the case may be, and such arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, or its statutory amendments, and in accordance with the MAMC's Rules of Arbitration and Conciliation or its amendments, in English language, and the seat of arbitration shall be at Chennai. The Award passed by the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on both the Parties.
For any interim relief, the courts in Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
